Atlas Mountains, Morocco (2013)
A culture of warm hospitality characterises encounters with the locals of Berber villages in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Women play a central role in greeting visitors with homemade bread and traditional mint tea. They welcome many tourists who visit with drivers on trips from the nearby major city of Marrakech to learn about the Berber culture and way of life.
