Eagle's Wings (2016)

I made ‘Eagle’s Wings’ in the wake of young widowhood, in the complexity and disconnection of my grief. This photographic process felt like a ritualistic performance to the camera – seeking the personal moments that make sense of what I felt and knew, and spoke to what was happening deep within. Creating this series was a therapeutic process of trying to make something meaningful and tangible in profound disconnection and loss.
